Content is King
Friday, October 26th, 2007The Online Publishers Association (OPA) just released the results of a study that analyzed how people spend their time online. According to the OPA, a big shift has happened over the last four years as content replaced communications as the primary role of the Internet. A number of factors are cited: a faster Internet, the increased popularity of video, there’s more content online, and improved search.
These findings support what has been going on for years – the steadly erosion the Internet is causing on other forms of media.
